Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Shark Invoice (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
The Service is available to Indian businesses and individuals who are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts under applicable Indian law. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
3. Account
You may create one account per business. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when registering and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us immediately at hello@sharkinvoice.com.
4. Subscription Plans
Shark Invoice offers a Free tier and a Pro subscription. The Free tier allows up to 5 invoices per month at no charge. The Pro subscription provides unlimited invoices, access to Quotes, and removal of the “Powered by” footer. Subscription payments are processed by Razorpay. Pro subscriptions renew automatically — monthly or annually depending on the plan selected — unless cancelled before the next renewal date through the Settings page.
5. Payment
Pro subscription fees are due at the start of each billing period. If payment fails, your account may be downgraded to the Free tier. Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any illegal purpose, to impersonate any person or entity, to abuse or overload our systems, or to attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or extract data from the Service by automated means. Violation of this clause may result in immediate termination of your account.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, code, and design that make up the Shark Invoice platform are the property of Hakkiloo Digital Agency. Invoices, quotes, client data, and other business content you create using the Service remain yours. We do not claim ownership over your data.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Hakkiloo Digital Agency's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits or data loss.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice. You may cancel your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease and your data will be retained per our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
